Bali's Tulamben Dive Wonder

Located on the eastern coast of Bali, Tulamben is a small village that is famous for its diving. This picturesque coastal town offers an unforgettable diving experience that attracts divers from all over the world. Diving in Tulamben is a wonderful experience that any diver should try at least once in their lifetime. In this blog, we will explore why diving at Tulamben Bali is so wonderful.

Tulamben Bali is known for its diverse underwater landscape. The main attraction is the USAT Liberty, a World War II shipwreck that lies just off the coast. The ship was torpedoed by the Japanese in 1942 and has since become a popular diving spot. The Liberty wreck has been underwater for more than 70 years, and its hull is now covered in anemones, soft corals, and sponges. The wreck is home to a variety of marine life, including schools of fish, octopuses, and even a resident barracuda.

The USAT Liberty is not the only diving spot in Tulamben Bali. The town is also home to a number of coral reefs that are teeming with marine life. The coral reefs are home to colorful fish, nudibranchs, and a variety of crustaceans. Diving at these coral reefs is like swimming in an aquarium, with colorful fish darting in and out of the coral formations.

One of the best things about diving at Tulamben Bali is the water temperature. The water is warm and comfortable year-round, with temperatures averaging around 27-29°C. Diving in warm water is not only more comfortable but also allows divers to spend more time underwater without getting cold. This means that divers can spend more time exploring the underwater world and observing the marine life.

Another great thing about diving at Tulamben Bali is the accessibility of the dive sites. Most of the dive sites in Tulamben are easily accessible from the shore, which means that divers do not need to take a boat to reach the dive sites. This makes diving in Tulamben very convenient, as divers can simply walk into the water and start exploring.

The diving conditions in Tulamben Bali are also very favorable. The water is usually calm and clear, with visibility ranging from 15-30 meters. The calm conditions make it easy for divers to navigate and explore the dive sites, while the clear water allows divers to see the marine life and coral formations in great detail.
